On May 12, 2026, we celebrated some amazing news! Our very own Ms. Wang Chiung-hsia won the first prize in the "2026 Changhua SUPER Teacher Awards" (Junior High School Category). Mayor Chiang of Fuxing Township also visited our school to congratulate her.

Ms. Wang has served at Fusing Junior High School for over 28 years. She is known for her deep care for students and her hard work in the office. Many former students visit her to thank her for her "loving reminders"—the little talks they once found annoying but now realize were full of love and care. Ms. Wang will now represent Changhua in the national competition. Let’s all cheer for her and wish her the best of luck!

115年5月12日，校園傳來振奮人心的好消息！本校王瓊霞老師榮獲彰化縣 115 年度「SUPER 教師獎」國中組首獎。福興鄉鄉長蔣煙燈先生也特別親自到校，為這份榮耀送上最誠摯的賀喜。

瓊霞老師在福興國中服務 28 載，始終秉持著對教育的熱誠，對學生照顧無微不至。有趣的是，許多畢業生最懷念的竟是老師當年的「碎碎念」，那是只有長大後才能領悟的深切關懷。無論是在教學現場還是行政工作，瓊霞老師的盡心盡力大家有目共睹。接下來，老師將代表彰化縣挑戰全國教師比賽，讓我們一起為老師加油，期待再傳捷報！

On May 8, 2026, our school held the "Watermelon Mom" challenge! To help students understand the hardships of pregnancy, students carried a whole watermelon in their front-facing backpacks all day long.

The students had to keep the watermelon with them at all times—during classes, PE, lunch, and even in the restroom. By noon, many students complained about back pain and realized how difficult it is for mothers to move around. At 4:00 PM, those who kept their watermelons safe were allowed to take them home to share with their families. This activity taught our students to cherish the love and hard work their parents have given them!

115年5月8日，福興國中的校園裡出現了一群小心翼翼的小小「孕夫／孕婦」！為了讓學生體會媽媽懷胎十月的辛苦，學校在母親節前夕舉辦了「西瓜媽媽」體驗活動。

參加的同學一早便領取西瓜裝入背包並「前揹」在胸前，開始模擬懷孕的校園生活。這顆西瓜全天候「隨身」，無論上課、體育課、午休甚至是上廁所都不能卸下。許多同學到中午就大喊腰痠，深刻體會到行動受限的辛苦。直到下午四點，西瓜完好無損的同學才能將這份「成果」帶回家與家人分享。透過這場真實的負重體驗，孩子們對父母的養育之恩有了更深刻的共鳴與感謝。

On April 25, 2026, our brave students, teachers, and parents joined the "2026 Beach Cleanup" event. Even though the weather was cloudy and unstable, everyone was excited to help. We picked up trash bags and worked hard during the break in the rain to clean the shoreline.

Students were surprised to see so much man-made trash, like plastic bottles and straws, hidden in the sand. "The ocean shouldn't look like this!" many said. Through this hands-on experience, everyone learned how important it is to protect our environment. We promised to use less plastic and always recycle. Let's work together to keep our beaches beautiful and clean!

115年4月25日，校園裡熱血的師生與家長們，一起參加了「2026 淨灘護海洋」活動。雖然當天雲層很厚、天氣不太穩定，但大家依然熱情不減，趁著雨停的空檔，趕緊提著垃圾袋衝向沙灘。

當大家彎下腰，發現沙灘上竟然散落著這麼多吸管、寶特瓶等不屬於大海的人造垃圾時，都忍不住驚呼連連。透過這次活動，同學們深刻體會到亂丟垃圾對環境造成的巨大傷害，也決定從自己做起，養成隨手分類、減少使用塑膠製品的好習慣。讓我們一起努力，把美麗的自然環境永續留給未來！

On April 18, 2026, our school hosted an exciting "Space Science Lecture"! To help elementary students explore the mysteries of the universe, we invited "Space Uncle" Mr. Hsu Han-Pin to share his knowledge about low-orbit satellites and AI technology.

Is space technology hard to understand? Mr. Hsu used fun metaphors: GIS mapping and weather apps are like Sun Wukong’s "thousand-mile eyes," and AI is like the "Magic Mirror" from Snow White. From Google Maps to weather forecasts, everything depends on satellites in space! He also talked about the Artemis II moon mission, encouraging students to study hard in math and science. He told us: "If you master space technology, you master the future!"

115年4月18日，校園裡展開了一場別開生面的「太空科普講座」！為了帶領國小高年級的小朋友探索宇宙奧秘，特別邀請到人稱「太空叔叔」的許漢賓會長，以超生動的方式介紹低軌衛星、AI 與遙測應用。

誰說太空科技很遙遠？許會長把現代科技比喻成童話：手機裡的 GIS 遙測和氣象功能，就像孫悟空的「千里眼」與「順風耳」；而無所不知的 AI 搜尋，就像白雪公主裡的「魔鏡」。原來，我們生活中的地圖導航、氣象預報，背後都靠著太空中各司其職的衛星。許會長更分享了最新的阿提米絲二號（Artemis II）登月計畫，鼓勵孩子們學好英文、數理與科技，因為掌握了太空，就掌握了未來的鑰匙！

On April 16, 2026, our "Local Ecology and Culture Club" enjoyed a fantastic field trip! Guided by expert Teacher Chuang, students visited the famous Longshan Temple to learn about its incredible history and art.

From the majestic dragon pillars to the famous "Eight Trigrams Ceiling," the temple became a living history book. Students were amazed to discover the deep meanings behind every stone carving and painting. "I used to just come here to pray with my parents, but now I know so much more!" one student said excitedly.

The highlight of the day was meeting a group of university students from Sweden! Our students bravely practiced their English, chatted with them, and took photos together. It was a wonderful day where local tradition met international friendship. Now, our students are ready to be junior guides for their own families!

115年4月16日，校園裡的社團活動五花八門，其中最接地氣的「在地生態文化社」，邀請到鹿港文史專家莊研育老師，帶著同學們走出教室，來到國定古蹟——龍山寺，展開一場深度文化之旅。

從宏偉的山門、栩栩如生的龍柱，到精美的壁畫彩繪以及最著名的「八卦藻井」，在莊老師的詳盡解說下，原本熟悉的廟宇彷彿變成了一本活生生的歷史書。同學們驚呼：「以前只會跟著大人來拜拜，沒想到連龍柱和門聯都藏著這麼深的學問！」

最特別的是，大家在參訪過程中，還巧遇了遠從瑞典來台灣旅遊的大學生。同學們鼓起勇氣互動，並與這群國際新朋友開心合影，讓這次的古蹟巡禮增添了驚喜的國際交流色彩。這次活動後，同學們紛紛表示，下次帶家人來龍山寺時，換他們來當小導覽員了！

On April 8, 2026, our 7th-grade students embarked on a delicious journey to explore the world of hospitality! They visited Sihu Senior High School for a hands-on baking workshop to make popular Korean bread.

Under the teacher's guidance, students learned how to use professional kneading machines and practiced dividing, rounding, and shaping the dough. Everyone felt a great sense of achievement as the aroma of freshly baked bread filled the room! Besides baking, they also learned the importance of workstation organization and professional packaging. This experience provided students with a deeper understanding of the hospitality industry and made career exploration fun and tasty!

On April 7, 2026, Fusing Junior High School welcomed a very special guest: Dom Jones, a 2024 U.S. Youth Leadership Award winner. Despite the rain, the campus was filled with energy as students and Teacher Dom explored sustainable development goals together.

Students from Class 803 acted as English ambassadors, proudly presenting Fusing’s dairy industry and the historic manatee cart culture. This exchange highlighted SDG 4 (Quality Education) by empowering students to share their local identity with the world in a second language.

Hands-on Sustainability at the Maker Center

At the school’s Maker & Technology Center, Teacher Dom joined students in a mortise and tenon DIY workshop. Aligned with SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), the lesson used eco-friendly materials to turn traditional craftsmanship into a model for circular economy. Teacher Dom was amazed by the students’ ability to innovate while respecting tradition.

The interaction was warm and inspiring. Students shared local treats and handmade gifts, building a sincere bond with their international guest. Table tennis is more than just a game; it's a dynamic full-body workout! With rapid movements, precise judgment, and quick swings, this sport effectively trains hand-eye coordination and agility. Fusing Junior High School Table Tennis Team emphasizes that playing table tennis is excellent for vision health as students must constantly trace the fast-moving ball, helping to relax eye muscles. Doubles matches also build great teamwork and coordination.

Founded in 2008, our team has grown from humble beginnings in a tin shed to having a dedicated practice hall. We offer a comprehensive training program, including special summer/winter sessions and off-site exchange trainings with other schools like Chenggong High School to keep our players fit. Our athletes perform brilliantly in national competitions, and they are equally outstanding academically. Over the years, many graduated players have entered top senior high schools, leading universities, and even medical schools. We warmly welcome all table tennis enthusiasts to join the Fusing family and grow strong with us!

Volleyball is a dialogue of trust and teamwork. Every pass, set, and spike is an extension of shared spirit. There are no individual heroes; only the bright light of a united team. The Fusing Junior High School Volleyball Team lives by the motto: "The ball never drops, and we never give up!" With every sweat and game, we train our bodies to be strong and our minds to stay calm and brave under pressure.

Now in its 13th generation, our team has a glorious history. The most touching part is our alumni. Whenever they have time, graduated players return to school to practice with and support their younger teammates. This powerful bond of "revolutionary friendship" is the secret to our success. Track and field is known as the "Mother of Sports." It combines running, jumping, and throwing to improve body coordination and mental strength. At Fusing Junior High School, our team focuses on professional training for all events. Sprints help students develop explosive power and focus, while long-distance running builds endurance and a strong will. Our athletes have won many awards in national competitions and built a solid foundation for their future sports careers.

We believe that character and teamwork are just as important as speed. Through relay races and daily practice, students learn how to cooperate, support each other, and stay humble. Our goal is to train students to be brave, calm, and respectful, both on and off the field. We welcome all students who are passionate about sports to join the Fusing Track and Field team. Taekwondo is a great sport for both the body and the mind. It helps students improve their balance, speed, and confidence. The Fusing Junior High School Taekwondo Team is famous for its amazing success. We have won the County Cup team championship 14 years in a row! Our team has also won national titles and trained many athletes for the national youth teams. We are very proud of our students' hard work and great honors.

Beyond winning medals, Taekwondo teaches students how to protect themselves. During winter and summer breaks, our team travels to other schools or even other countries to practice and learn new skills. We welcome all interested elementary and junior high students to join us. 跆拳道是一項手腳並用的綜合性運動，不僅能鍛鍊四肢的協調與平衡，更能增強耐力、速度與靈敏度，並在實戰中培養隨機應變的能力與自信心。福興國中跆拳道隊深耕多年，在縣內及全國賽事中屢創佳績，不僅締造縣長盃 14 連霸團體冠軍的輝煌紀錄，更在全中運榮獲全國冠軍，培育出多位少年及青少年國家代表隊選手，為縣、為國爭取最高榮譽。

On February 2, 2026, the "Sustainable Development Science Camp" started! It was a great day for students to learn about the environment.

★ Morning: Trip to the Green Energy Pavilion In the morning, students visited the TCC Green Energy Pavilion. They saw how "green energy" works. This technology helps protect our nature and our home.

★ Afternoon: A Special Talk with Ms. Hu Yong-qing In the afternoon, we invited Ms. Hu Yong-qing to talk to us. She was an editor for famous magazines like Business Weekly and CommonWealth. Now, she works for a big company to help the planet.

She talked about SDGs and ESG. These help people and companies take care of the Earth. We hope all students can learn a lot and help save the world together!

115年2月2日，「彰化縣青少年永續發展科學營」在福興國中熱血登場！這場為期兩天的科學探索之旅，首日便以實地參訪與深度講座，引領孩子們看見綠色未來的無限可能。

★ 上午：直擊台泥綠能願景館 同學們首先前往「台泥綠能願景館」參訪，近距離觀察綠色能源的運作機制。從導覽中，學生們深刻理解到再生能源如何從概念轉化為實際應用，見證了科技與大自然共生的續發展歷程。

★ 下午：專業對談——探索 SDGs 與 ESG 浪潮 下午的精彩亮點，則是邀請到長期致力於永續研究的專業講師——胡詠晴老師。胡老師具備深厚的媒體與產業背景，曾任《商業周刊》、《天下雜誌》編輯及《今周刊》ESG永續台灣網站主編，現任職於瀚宇彩晶策略永續發展中心。

胡老師以「氣候變遷與永續發展」為題，用生活化的語言向同學們介紹了聯合國永續發展目標 (SDGs) 以及企業 ESG 社會責任等核心概念。透過胡老師的分享，學員們不僅認識了各項再生能源的理念，更學會如何將這些知識轉化為行動。我們期待這群孩子能將這份永續熱情帶回家，攜手成為守護地球的「永續小尖兵」！

On February 3, 2026, students had a fun day of hands-on science! Teacher Cheng Chi-yu showed us how to do four amazing experiments.

★ Four Magic Experiments:

Magic Food Play: Making thin "films" with special liquids.

Honey Rainbow Tower: Learning about "density" by making colorful liquid layers.

Perfume Making: Learning how to make sweet smells.

Blonde Beauty: Learning about natural fibers and DIY hair dye.

Under the teacher’s help, students mixed different things and watched the colors change. Everyone felt like a magician! This class taught us to be patient and careful. We all had a great time and learned so much in this two-day camp!

115年2月3日，永續發展科學營進入了最令人期待的實作課程！我們邀請到鄭琪諭老師，帶領福興國中的同學們化身「科學魔法師」，透過四項有趣的實驗探索化學的奧秘。

★ 四大科學主題實驗：

神奇食玩：認識半透膜特性，親手製作海藻酸鈉薄膜。

蜜糖彩塔：利用密度原理，疊出色彩繽紛的液體塔。

香水萃取：學習酯類萃取，調製屬於自己的芬芳。

金髮美女：認識天然纖維，並動手自製染髮劑。

在鄭老師的指導下，同學們小心翼翼地混合原料，觀察色彩與物質的奇妙變化。這次的課程不僅讓大家學到豐富的科學知識，更在過程中培養了耐心與謹慎的態度。看著自己親手完成的成品，每位同學都收穫滿滿，為這兩天的營隊畫下完美的句點！

In December, Fusing Junior High School held a two-day "Freshman Experience Camp" for elementary school students. We invited foreign teachers to lead fun English classes. During the first week, the theme was "Sports and the Olympics," where students learned English words for different sports. In the second week, the theme was "Food." It was great to see the children introduce themselves confidently in English and enjoy the activities.

The camp also featured two exciting science workshops. Students used the Canva website to design their own patterns and made them into unique buttons. We also invited a teacher from Changhua Senior High School to show us how to build electric motors. Through this hands-on class, the children learned the secrets of how electricity and magnets work. Everyone went home with new knowledge, creative works, and big smiles!

福興國中於十二月舉辦了為期兩週的「國小新生體驗營」，利用週六上午帶領孩子們提前探索國中校園生活。學校特別邀請外語講師全程以全英語授課，第一週以「奧運體育」為主題，讓孩子在律動中學習各種運動項目的英文單字；第二週則以「美食」為核心，學生們大方地使用英文自我介紹並積極融入互動，在歡樂的氛圍中提升口語表達的自信心。

除了充實的雙語課程，營隊更安排了兩場跨領域科學試驗。學生們首先結合數位科技，利用 Canva 網站設計獨具特色的個人圖樣，再親手壓製成專屬徽章。此外，學校也邀請到彰化高中的老師蒞臨指導，帶領孩子們製作電磁馬達，從實作中觀察並理解電磁運作的科學原理。兩天的營隊課程內容豐富、動靜皆宜，讓每位參與的學童不僅帶走精美的作品，更收穫了滿滿的知識與成就感。

At the end of the semester, Fusing Junior High School organized a special trip to the Fubao Wetland. We invited a local expert, Mr. Nian, to show our teachers the unique tradition of catching mud shrimps.

Mr. Nian drove a traditional "Sea Bull" cart and brought professional tools. He showed the teachers how to find mud shrimps hidden in the sand. By using water pipes to wash the sand, many mud shrimps came out with the water! It was amazing to see so many shrimps caught in the nets.

The teachers had a great time and brought home a lot of fresh shrimps to cook. This was a wonderful "farm-to-table" experience. It helped the teachers understand more about the local environment and the hard work of local fishermen!

學期末，福興國中輔導室特別規劃了一場充滿在地特色的生涯發展教育講座——「福寶濕地生態體驗」。活動邀請到在地職業達人 粘文堂先生，他駕駛著專業的海牛車，載著全套特殊工具，帶領老師們前往福寶濕地，探索潮間帶的生命力。

經驗豐富的粘文堂先生能精準辨識蝦猴群聚的地點。他架設好專業工具，利用塑膠管將海水灌入泥沙地中，看著一隻隻蝦猴隨著水流被沖刷而出，再用專業網具輕鬆捕獲。當天老師們收穫滿滿，帶回一整籮筐的鮮甜蝦猴，回家後紛紛大展身手親自料理。這不僅是一次難得的生態考察，更是一場「從產地到餐桌」的深度體悟，讓老師們對家鄉產業有了最直觀的認識。

This semester, a very special bus came to our school. It is the Cloud and Water Mobile Library. When the bus opens its doors, it looks like a seagull spreading its wings. Inside, there are many wonderful books for our students.

The friendly volunteers, "Auntie Three-Good" and "Grandpa Seagull," love to talk with the students. Sometimes they even show magic tricks! Students in 7th and 8th grade had a great time reading outside under the sun. The bus has many kinds of books, like science books, comics, and picture books.

We learned that reading can happen anywhere, not just in a classroom. We want to thank the Cloud and Water Mobile Library for bringing so many great stories to our school!

本學期，福興國中的校園迎來了一位特別的朋友——「佛光山雲水書車」。當書車緩緩展開雙翼，彷彿一隻巨大的海鷗張開翅膀，滿載著知識與驚喜來到學生身邊。學校特別為七、八年級學生安排了閱覽場次，讓大家在舒適的戶外空間享受讀書趣。

書車上的志工「三好阿姨」與「海鷗爺爺」不僅親切，更時常帶來精采的小魔術，讓孩子們在輕鬆愉快的氛圍中閱讀。書車提供的書籍種類多元且定期更換，從科普領域到有趣的漫畫與繪本應有盡有。這項服務讓學生體會到：閱讀不只限於教室或圖書館，而是可以隨時隨地開啟的奇幻旅程。誠摯感謝雲水書車的到來，帶領福興學子在知識的海洋中任意遨遊。

On January 23, 2026, 7th-grade students from Fusing Junior High School visited Baguashan for a special school trip. They went to the Taiwanese Language Cultural Park and the National Changhua Living Art Center.

At the park, six guides spoke in Taiwanese to the students all morning. It was a great way to learn about our local language. Students saw many interesting things, such as the history of Taiwanese songs, puppet shows, and local history. It helped them love our culture even more.

Later, they visited the Art Center to see beautiful paintings and wood carvings by famous artists. The students learned how to enjoy art and feel its beauty. This trip was a perfect way for our students to learn about history, language, and art outside the classroom!

115年1月23日上午，福興國中安排七年級學生進行了一場別開生面的「校本走讀課程」，前往八卦山上的台語文化園區及生活美學館參訪，帶領學生深入探索彰化之美。

在台語文化園區，特別感謝六位導覽人員全程以台語解說，讓學生體驗難得的沉浸式母語環境。透過參觀台語歌曲歷史、布袋戲、歌仔戲及本土歷史紀錄場館，同學們不僅加深了對這片土地的情感，更深刻感受到台灣人堅韌的韌性，也喚起大家保存優美台語文的使命感。

隨後，師生一行轉往生活美學館，欣賞畫家林永利先生的作品及木雕師陳啓村先生的特展。在專業的導覽中，學生們學習如何欣賞藝術創作，不僅提升了藝術氣質，也讓這場走讀課程成為兼具感官與心靈層面的豐富體驗。

Fusing Junior High School is located in the Xishi Community. Recently, our 7th-grade students went on a special walking tour to learn more about their neighborhood. We invited the leaders of the Xishi Community Association to be our guides.

The students saw beautiful wall paintings that show the local business: handmade brooms. They also visited the local temple to learn about its history. The tour included the community center, the senior care center, and the kids' after-school center. Students also enjoyed walking through the many parks and the "Happy Farm."

We want to say a big thank you to the community leaders for their hard work and wonderful stories. This trip helped our students understand and love the place where they go to school every day!

福興國中就坐落於充滿人情味的西勢社區。為了讓七年級學生更深入認識這片土地，校本課程特別邀請西勢社區發展協會的理事長與社區幹部，帶領孩子們展開一場深度導覽。

同學們從活潑的社區壁畫開始，了解西勢著名的特色產業——「手工掃帚」；隨後參訪社區的信仰中心與廟宇沿革，並實地走訪社區活動中心、老人日照中心及學童課後照顧中心，看見社區對各年齡層的關懷。此外，大家也漫步於多座充滿綠意的社區公園及開心農場，感受社區營造的成果。

特別感謝理事長與幹部們頂著太陽，耐心地為每一個班級進行詳細解說。這場校外導覽就像是一場小小的家鄉旅行，讓福興學子對自己每天上課的所在地有了更深的情感連結與認同感。

Technology brings us together! Students from Class 803 at Fusing Junior High School had a fun online meeting with Seiwadai Junior High School in Hyogo, Japan.

The Japanese students started with a fun "Japan Quiz" to help everyone get to know each other. Then, our students introduced the special things about Fusing, such as our handmade brooms, sweet watermelons, and local dairy farms. Everyone had a great time talking and laughing together.

Last Christmas, our students even sent handmade cards and 3D-printed gifts from our school’s maker center to their Japanese friends. Through this international exchange, our students learned a lot about the world. They hope to visit each other in person one day!

網路無國界！福興國中 803班全體同學在導師李姿儀老師 的帶領下，與日本兵庫縣川西市 清和台中學校以及外師Hanna老師進行了一場精采的線上視訊交流。

活動一開始，日本學生準備了十題關於日本小知識的快問快答，在趣味互動中迅速打破僵局。緊接著，由福興國中的學生接力介紹家鄉特色，包括著名的福興掃帚、鮮甜的西瓜，以及在地著名的酪農業與乳牛。

除了即時互動，這份友誼早已醞釀。去年聖誕節時，同學們特別親手製作聖誕賀卡，並附上校內自造中心製作的 3D 列印作品 送給日本夥伴。這次交流讓學生們收穫滿滿，大家不僅開拓了國際視野，更約定未來一定要互訪校園，將這份跨國情誼延續下去。
